This makes backwashing easy
If your machine can backwash, proceed as follows:
- Insert the blind filter and add approx. 3 g of Cafiza powder.
- Flush 5 times for 10 seconds each until foam forms.
- Empty the blind filter and rinse thoroughly with water.
- Rinse again 5 times with clean water to remove all residue.
- Make an espresso and pour it away – that's it!

Does your portafilter need some extra care?
Then treat it to a warm bath:
- 1 liter of hot water,
- 3 g of Cafiza powder
- Soak for approx. 30 minutes – done.
Then rinse well – and everything will shine like new.
